Past, Present and Future

Finding her creative vision through photography Amy
identified the need for developing the business of arts. She
pursued a Masters in Arts Administration and applied her
management expertise to supporting
arts and business
partnerships
across the United States. Recognized for her
innovation she was brought into the academic team of the
University of Houston Downtown as a professor of Arts
Administration.

Reaching mid-career Amy realised that she was not alone
in her need to strike a
life-work balance. As a Research
Fellow with
Americans for the Arts she conducted a national
study identifying solutions for
retaining and developing mid-
career professionals
, the fuel in the non-profit sector’s
leadership pipeline.

Amy relocated to the United Kingdom in 2006 and joined
the social enterprise
Legal Action Group. As business
development manager she established sustainable cross-
sector partnerships that were previously unimagined.
Simultaneously she trained as a
leadership coach, using
her expertize to foster individual and team development.

In 2008 Amy returned to the United States and established
Leading-Together, an international consulting practice that
supports individuals, partnerships, organisations and
communities in reaching their fullest potential.

Amy lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. You can follow her
personal exploration of self-sustainment and view her
